P&P: first of all – what was the tour with Vice Squad like?

Bones: The tour with Vice Squad was really great! We had a lot of kick ass shows in the 3 weeks we were out with them. Lots of VERY drunken nights! Everyone on the tour got Las Vegas show names; Mine is Deke Satyrn, Joey is Dickie Devere, Volume is Dean Marty, and Johnny O’s is the best… Long John „The Blond“ Jablonski!!!

P&P: it would be interesting to find out what were lower class brats listening to in their childhood. have you lived for punk since you remember or did you listen to something different (metal, rock…) ? and what is your favourite band nowadays?

Bones: I can only speak for myself on this question.

P&P: I believe that this is not your favourite question, but please introduce Eisley a little bit in your own words.

Eisley is made up of three sisters, a brother and a cousin. We basically just grew up loving music and once we realized at a young age we could create our own we never stopped! We fell down the rabbit hole a bit like Alice. A woman asked me this yesterday what we sounded like and I believe my exact words were „Well, we’re a family band…I know that sounds cheesy, but we’re not, I swear!“ . Songwriters that influence me personally the most for as long as I can remember are Paul McCartney, Thom Yorke (from Radiohead), Bjork and Jeremy Enigk (Sunny Day Real Estate).

A friend got me some records and on;e thing lead to another and I found myself listening to this kind of music. It was the right music at the right time so I didn’t thought much about it. I think I was 14 or 15… I got the bug then and its with me ever since.

P&P: Do you have any music and life hero? If so, who is it?

I have so many musicians that I like and respect that I would stay here all day to mention only half of them. I can tell you that Patsy Cline was the first female voice that really impressed me.

P&P: We realy like your old style pin-up image. Is it just a concert image or is it your life-style? Can I say that you „live rockabilly life“, neck and crop?

Well, I’m not a pin up or pretend to be one. I leave that to the pretty girls out there that are already doing a great job. When I perform I try to

Lovisa and Pernilla knew each other from way back, they used to play in bands together since they were like 16 years old. They actually met thru an ad in the newpaper for like teeagers like „Im a girl who wants to start a band…“ or something like that. Its pretty rad. I (Jannicke) was around the same crowd as Pernilla and Lovisa was in, I played in another band so they saw me played and when they kicked their lousy guitarist they asked me to join. Also at one point, we had Jonas from Henry Fiats Open Sore playing satnd-in drums for us… he recommended Linus as a drummer. So we called him up and he agreed to try out. And now we are kind of family I guess! Oh, the bandname comes from a James Bond movie (Thunderball). There is a boat in that movie where all the evil

(I´m sorry if it´s too curious :)

Analena is in the first line a group of rather different individuals that share an important peace of their lives with each other. Considering the fact that we are already old punkrockers, since our average age is way over 30, we all have more or less regular jobs besides playing in Analena, but also bunch of other activities that spice our lives a little bit. Zet (drummer) is an architect with longest dreadlocks and everything else about him is a mystery. Mijo (guitar) works as an engineer for audio systems and equipment (or something like that), besides that he also teaches in “Rock academy” (unofficial school where youngsters learn how to play instruments, record, etc.), play guitar in awesome post-rock band LUNAR, and in general he is all about music. Last but not least, he has a beautiful oneyear old daughter. I, Miran (guitar), work in a small company on the field of spatial planning and environment, besides that I am also the man behind the wheel of Moonlee Records. Ana (singer, bass) is the only one without full time

1) PAP: Well, few weeks ago we received emails and myspace bulletins about your death. I must confess I was relly shocked. I have read it around five times till I understood that it..s fake. What was your feelings when you read you are dead? Hc tabloids, that’s excatly what we’ve been waiting for, ha ha.

Ian: ultimately it was an enormous waste of people’s time. i don’t know who started this rumor, but i suspect that they had no idea of how wide it would be spread. such is the cancerous quality

* Sammi: The Holograms have a distinguished history in human trafficking. Seriously, we really did have a mail-order bride in the band, but her husband wanted her to learn English before fronting a girl band so he made her quit. We’ve harbored lots of illegal musical immigrants over the years. The current line-up’s student visas all expire next month so hopefully we will get a US record deal very soon – or it’s back to Dubai for all of us!

Allison Wolfe about Partyline, czech gigs, riot grrrls movement and things like that.

Enjoy as we did!

P&P: What happened to that blond girl (Crystal?)? Why did Gene replace her?

Our drummer Crystal lives in New York City now and has a serious job as a mental health counselor for drug-addicted deaf people. With this kind of job, she’s not able to tour for periods of more than 2 weeks at a time. So when we tour somewhere for a month, like in Europe, (you kind of have to tour for that long in order to afford the plane tickets) we have to bring a fill-in drummer. Usually we bring Gene, the younger brother of Angela, our guitar player. Gene normally drums in a hardcore band of his own called „Lion of Judah.“ He’s straight edge, so it’s nice to know there will be a responsible sober person in our crew by the end of each night on tour! He’s really sweet and fun, but it’s been hard touring without Crystal, and I think having all-girls in the band is more interesting to our sound and image.

P&P:What do you think about the other two gigs in the Czech Republic - Prague and Hustopece? Just admit that we’ve been better fans!

I’m really happy we got to tour in Czech Republic on this tour, it’s our first time.
